Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of the debate platform, including profiles, debates, chat, media uploads, and discovery features. Last updated June 30, 2026.
Using Debate
You must use Debate lawfully and respectfully. You are responsible for your account, your content, and any activity under your credentials. You may not abuse authentication, scrape the service, or attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without permission.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you create, but you grant Debate a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and distribute that content as needed to operate, promote, moderate, and improve the service.
Debate Conduct
Debate is built for disagreement, not harassment. Do not post threats, targeted abuse, illegal content, impersonation, spam, malware, or content that violates another person’s rights. Moderation actions may remove content or close debates when needed.
Third-Party Services
Sign-in and infrastructure features may depend on third-party providers such as Supabase. Their services may be subject to their own terms and availability.
Service Changes
Debate may change, suspend, or discontinue features, including premium, notifications, or discovery systems. Some features may be experimental or unavailable in certain deployments.
Disclaimers and Liability
The service is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Debate is not liable for indirect damages, lost data, lost profits, user content, third-party services, or interruptions outside our control.
Contact
For terms, moderation, or account questions, contact Debate support through the support channel listed in the app or your deployment owner.
